Yes. You put in 1 fish of one type (and only one type) and over time they mulitply. Normally at around 3, 7, and 9 they will ask for things. When they are maxed out that is when you get the best items from them. Stugeons are good.

That's a good reason, it's also very valuable. I had Sturgeons mixed up though, they only give their roe.

Most other rarer fish give great things when you are at 9-10 fish in the pond.

The fish take time to multiply based on rarity and ability to produce, so sturgeon make a lot of money so they start of small, every couple of days theyll request something from you to make their population size bigger, do that and youll be able to put more in. The max a pond can hold is 10 and at ten certain ponds will do certain things and give special items. The best fish ponds to look at are Sturgeon, Lava Eels, Blobfish, Spook Fish, and Midnight Eel, some of which you catch at the night market and the Eels on level 100 in the mine. Request happen weekly and mutiplication time per fish will vary on the fish. I hope this helps and that you are in good health during all this craziness in the world!:steamhappy:

You can put more than 1 in. After you do a quest for the fish pond to increase the capacity you can then fill it.

Click on the fish pond and see how many it can hold and how many empty slots it has, if you have empty slots then you can add additinal fish without waiting for them to multiply on their own.

sturgon is one of the ponds that start with 1 max. 3 max only after the first demmand is fullfilled.
