Not getting any money for corn

this is my first playthrough im on fall harvesting corn but im never getting paid for it when i sell it through the chest next to the house as im used to is there a fix to this?

last time i thought of going to pierre the night before i got money for it, but i sold corn for three or four times and didnt get money for it im sure of it because the big portion of my crops was made out of corn and i wasnt getting the kind of money i was supposed to be getting. Seems to be fixed if it really was happening but i already lost a lot of profit :p

Uh... Did you check the menu that shows everything you've sold? Corn just isn't a very valuable crop - but rather it lasts a long time, so it's decent for eating or pickling. For example, corn is worth as much as 1 blueberry, and when you harvest blueberries you get 3 at a time... So 1 tile of corn is 50g per harvest, whereas 1 tile of blueberries is 3x that.

Not that bad since you get 11 harvests out of it, meaning a 400g net gain per crop over 2 seasons, though that's not a ton of money compared to other crops. You can get more mileage out of it by turning it into tortilla and eating/gifting it, or placing it in a preserves jar to pickle it which triples its sell price (or quadruples with artisan perk).
