Maru not askin' for kids yet

Just gotten the nursery upgrade and married Maru in the first year, currently fall of second year but shes not asking yet.

She has walked around the nursery a few times to just stare at it. do I have to wait a week for the game to realize then trigger the event? *I usually go to sleep past 6PM but never to the point of almost passing out*

14 hearts, I'm now on day 18 of fall year 2. I've had the nursery since fall 7 I think.

Yep every day, however I am aware that it would be a adopted child instead since my character on the save file is female.

And she already asked and I accepted it and named the baby Florai.
