Abigail (wife) went missing on her Birthday.

Woke up, and Abigail's not in the house, not at the general store, can't find her. Looked at the wiki schedules for being married, didn't really help with things.

Any clue as to what's going on?

I did restart, but she still wasn't there. Most odd.

did you download any mods? Sometimes if you change how the characters look they go invisible until you change there texture back. (Try reloading the texture, her file name is abigal.xnb)

The only thing I have changed are some portraits and a sprite. It's worked for 80 hours, it's the 'old Abigail' with blue hair portrait / sprite.

That might be it, but pretty lame if so.

I booted up another file, Abigail's still there in that file. Are there any post-marriage birthday specific sprites/portraits that could be conflicting?

Doesn't have anything to do with different sprites / portraits, I verified my game files, which replaced them all with the default ones, and she still is missing. Le sigh. :P

Interesting. She could be in the void inside the house. Like how the children get stuck there sometimes. While it sucks you can not give her a gift, she should return later or the next day.

Have you looked in every possible location she is found at? I once couldn't find her because of the place she played her flute was blocked off.

Also, what day of week is it? That plays a roll of when she returns home to give her the present at nighttime.
