i'm on winter of year five or six and I still haven't found one, it' the last item I need for my museum

You might want to check out the Wiki site under artifacts. It'll tell you how to find them. I am still missing 4 items for the museum too. One I know how to get, but it's super rare and the first one I used was for my Galaxy sword. Well there was another I know how to get here, but it's a rare drop and it's the 4th Dwarf Scroll, which is annoying because I want to start befriending our dwarf friend lol.

you'll get there eventually, if you get a ton of money you can just spam buy the omnigeodes on wednesdays (I think) in the desert. also yeah I had trouble finding the first dwarf scroll haha

I found that ancient sword most times by fishing. Not really from dig spots

You can give him gifts before he's been translated. I usually start with Dwarf in year 1 to catch his birthday. Use a cherry bomb to blow up the blockade to his area.

You can gift him extra Dwarf scrolls and gems. He also likes Frozen Tears, Earth Crystals, and Beer. I usually have tons of Frozen Tears and Earth Crystals, so he gets to eat them.

I checked the forest/mountain every day for 2 years and got 1 ancient sword (ultimately from the forest). The last one I need is Elven jewelry. Odds in the wiki seem off since I have gotten the handaxe like 2 dozen times.. but I guess that is RNG for you.

Edit: If you are not against it, hacking your save file for Tracker helps a lot in finding worms/not wasting time running around if there are none.

I have found like 3. i remember getting my first one when i dig a worm patch near the mine entrance, and i am almost sure i got another one by fishing.
I finally got the last artifact like a month ago (prehistoric scapula). I was so happy that i don't have to look for them anymore lol

I got the elven one at forest near the path that leads to flower festival area ;p
