How to bring the animals in?
I have 2 coop and 1 barn (upgraded to full size) and I built a fence with grass in it. Every sunny day, I open the doors and let the animals out to eat outdoors. On most days, they return to home at 6 pm. But sometimes one or two animals are stuck and grumpy the next day.
How am I supposed to get them in?

If you run into them like you're trying to pass through the animal and right-click it'll let you interact with them even when they're trying to sleep. This'll get them to re-check the time and their pathing and they should return home, provided the barn entry is unobstructed.

Charlotte - I just want to say I think you are amazing! You are so smart and really grasp this game. Thanks for taking the time to answer all of our questions.

during spring summer and fall i generally leave my lil hatch open so they can come out in morning....they wont get attacked at night if left open, only if stuck outside when hatch closed... maybe leaven door open can help?

Thank you but no ^^ I don't like to search every morning for every animal to pet and milk it ^^

They why there are fences :-)

There are fences, because I dont want to search over my whole farm. But animals outside are often too close together to pick them individually. Most of the time, I pet the same duck 10 times while trying to pet the others... Inside the coop and barn, there is more space, I find it easier there.

So this is strange. Once of my rabbits stayed outside and I did what you said. It went a few meters, but then suddenly stopped and wouldnt move further (at this time, the clock just hit 8 pm, so perhaps it has something to do with the time). I gave up, closed the coop and went to bed. Next morning, I searched my grumpy rabbit - it wasnt outside anymore. It was inside the coop and was happy. Strange... :D

I know, but it never happened to me. How high is the chance?
Anathema Device Nov 10, 2016 @ 7:54am
The chance is almost certainty. Thats what your fence should be for. The chickens are very easy to catch early in the morning. They always go for the nearest patch of grass.

Then my hardwood fence could be the reason I never heard about any attacks :D
