Getting bored...what should I do?

I'm getting really bored. I'm in my second year and winter just killed the game for me. A whole month of nothing! :(

I've got a husband, I'm saving for the next house upgrade, I fixed the bridge and the minecarts and am working on the other bundle things...I just feel like there's nothing to do. I don't want to mine. I don't want to fish (it's just too hard, I hate it). What else is there to do?

You could just reorganize your farm to be more effiecient, or just sleep the whole winter away if you hate it that much.

i used to hate fishing too, but i kept practicing and got really good at it. Now I love to fish, I find it relaxing. I've been getting more money for stream fish than ocean fish. I also bought a fiberglass rod, but I'm not sure why it's better.

Go to the mine every lucky day, or the very least when it's neutral. While mining incredibly tedious and boring, it's very important, and there's no better time than Winter to stock all the ores.

Upgrade all your tools to max, again there's no better time than winter to do that.

Or go hunting for artifacts and minerals to complete the Museum Collections, easier to find the artifact spot in Winter.

Or... Complete the Adventurers Guild challenge, it's quite fun and they give lot of cool and unique rewards!

Not only that but im constantly adding new things to it

Did you at least mine enough to get yourself Gold tools? Mining and combat are defs a part of this game and if you refuse to do them...whelp, you're gonna miss out on a large chunk of content.

Do you have a barn and coop? They can give you things to do each day, at least. If you had the Greenhouse you coulda farmed all through winter.

Yeah all gold tools, got my barn and coup....but stuck on a few greenhouse items (but getting there!)...just trying to build up but it feels a bit repetative. Except the farming because I can see progress there and I am making wines.

If you did winter foraging bundle or your foraging is level 7 (?) I think you can craft winter forage seeds. Which still gives you something to do during the winter, if not atleast for an extra hour or two a day.

Also I see you have a husband but are the other villagers maxed out? Maybe try getting their relationships to full, since you dont like mining or fishing.

The sad reality is that there isn't much to do after 2 years in-game (but it was a great ride wasn't it!)

I think Cid is onto it, there's nothing really new. It's a whole bunch of waiting, running errands, collecting things, and doing chores.

A good portion of what is left to do requires some grinding, foraging, mining, and fishing. If you don't want to do it, then maybe it is time to move on.
