Need help deciding what to put in my shed
Hello! I currently have 4 big sheds in my game. Two of them are filled up with kegs, producing ancient fruit wine (and starfruit wine after summer harvests). The third one I'm thinking of filling up with Crystalariums making diamonds, but I'd like to maybe put something else in the last shed. It would be better if it were something that can produce constantly.

So, my questions are: What are the best options? Are jams a good thing to spend time on making from a financial perspective? Should I just fill the last one with Crystalariums as well?

I should mention that the only reason why I am not filling up the last 2 sheds with kegs is that I'd probably run out of ancient fruits really fast since I only grow them in the greenhouse and I am not familiar with other types of wine I could make apart from ancient fruit and starfruit.

Thank you very much for taking your time to read this. Any help is much appreciated! I wish everyone a lovely day!

I also have 2 sheds with kegs, not to mention kegs in celler, quarry, backwoods, and tunnel; And that gives me 954 kegs. Since I have more than enough gold income, I use other two sheds as storage and seed maker for ancient fruit. The amount of seed maker I placed in is enough for me to continually feed fruit and receive seed without a stop in one go.

Jam is not as profitable as wine. Ancient Fruit Wines are the top profitable things to sell in the game. You could try to increase the seed count and plant them outside of greenhouse at starting of the year to continue to grow and bear fruit. It takes one whole season to grow, bear fruit in two seasons, and wither in winter. So you are able to use that two season time to go caving or do other stuff whatnot.

so yeah you want one shed full of kegs for your greenhouse ancient fruit. 116 Kegs for the 116 plants in there, every week harvest and move them over to the shed to process. you also get 16 peach trees in there so we'd need a second 112 kegs for those fruit.

or we could just line up 48 preserve jars somewhere for them make peach jelly every 3 days. pairs up nicely there too.

thats just for taking care of your greenhouse. you walk in, on friday, grab all the fruit, put it in machines. and every 3 days for the peaches.

now I find the nook in my house near the child's room is a great place for machines. furnaces, seedmakers, recycling machines, etc. I just rip them up and stick them in a chest and replace as needed for short term processesing. you can fit like 20 machines and a chest up there. and easily adjust depending on your needs.

so nothing like that needs permanent placement in your sheds.

you might want a farm processing shed. you know mayo makers, cheese makers, etc. you just abandon your farm for a while come back check the autograbbers and throw it in the machines.

otherwise I don't see why you can't just do more kegs.
Thank you very much for your tips!

Thank you very much! I suppose wine really is the best way to get rich in this game! After all, it's what most of my income comes from.

Hello! There is not much to it, really! The best way to learn how to play is to experiment. Also, the wiki is your best friend. It's one of these games where everyone plays it a bit differently. There is no wrong way to play this game, so don't worry about it!

not sure if youre into it but i just downloaded the first and only mod im using for this game

casks anywhere on the nexus

I'm working on aged ancient fruit wine, along with aged pale ales and aged dairy all at the same time. still in the process of procuring all the wood needed for such a venture in summer year 3. so far im at two big sheds with 137 kegs a piece that feed into what will eventually be like 6+ sheds with 137 casks per. im not sure if ill have enough room for a full rotation of everything. 2 barns of a mix of goats and cows feed the cellar under the house with aged cheese pretty evenly

TL;DR Get the mod and fill em with casks. i call em money bombs

May I ask, why the peaches?

Peaches and Pomegranates are the most expansive fruits among all fruit trees.

I don't use mods right now, however the one you mention sounds very useful, so in case I ever decide to start using them, I'll make sure to keep it in mind. Thank you!

Crystalariums in the Quarry sound like a great idea! For some reason I keep forgetting about the quarry because it's pretty useless in the late game (using it for mining ore and stone is useless) I don't have a slime hutch either, because I use the space for crops as well. I have about 3 fishing ponds for completion sake, but from the little experience I have, it's not worth working hard to get a lot of caviar (which is pretty much the only truly valuable thing you can get from the ponds).
Thank you so much for your reply! You gave me a great idea!
