Mod uninstall/SMAPI Uninstall?
Hey guys! So i just recently downloaded SMAPI and mono onto my computer so i could try the "get dressed" mod. Now that I have it, I feel like I want the game to just go back to the way it was. However, before i installed these programs I didn't back up my save files. So, is there any way to delete the mod, SMAPI, and mono, WITHOUT damaging my gameplay/save files? Thanks!

Just thought i would let anyone know that I fixed the problem! I just went to properties for the game and clicked verify game cache...that got rid of the mod! Then I just uninstalled the programs and VOILA! Everything is good!

While verifying cache works, there is also an official method. If you run the installer for SMAPI, there is also an option for uninstall.

I've tried doing that, but when I go to run Stardew Valley again it tells me it's missing some kind of executable file

Hey guys - found the solution - run the smapi uninstaller and as it suggests- right click properties of Stardew and in launch options - remove all the text!!!

My friend had this problem as well. Here's what worked:

You need to remove the launch options you needed to get SMAPI working.
Right click on the game, go to preferences and then general/Set Launch options.
Then delete the line in there.

so found another way to uninstall smapi. just download the new version then by clicking the install button you get 2 options install or uninstall. then just choose the second option and remove the launch options.
