Serious question about Stardew Valley and GPD (Pocket computer)
Hello! I'd like to ask a question regarding about the system requirements of Stardew Valley to the specifications of GPD that I am planning to get ( http://www.gpd.hk/gpdwin.asp ):

Is the specification of this GPD will suit well for Stardew Valley, I am in doubt since I read this game needs 2GHz processor while this GPD has the range from 1.6GHz to 2.4GHz processor, so I am asking this before I decide to buy it.

Oh and, if you have any suggestions to buy any other GPD other than what I pasted here, I'll be glad to check on them.

Thank you and have a great day! :steamhappy:

No clue what a gpd is, but i know on lower processors than what a game requires, they run like garbage most times.

My laptop can run this game just fine with my 1.90 GHz, so it should be fine. Though, I don't know much about this GPD. So if you do plan on buying that for this game, I suggest maybe talking to the seller to see if they think this game would work.

I had to look them up.

They're essentially very small laptops. Not quite pocket-sized, but almost as tiny as a handheld console.

They probably cater to a very niche customer base. Usually, laptops are the preferred size for people who are often on the move because they're small and light enough to be easily carried but still reasonably big enough that you don't have to hold them up to your face, but I would imagine there are a few people for which a laptop is not an option for whatever reason.

I did check the graphic card Intel HD Graphics 405 of this GPD, and as far as I understood, it should run, but I was asking here just to be sure that I won't get GPD with higher expectations.

I am not on the move all the time, but I do want to buy this so I can pass up the boredom while travelling to work/home and sometime play on my bed when I don't feel like getting up.

I was in dilemma between this to other GPD 7" screen with 1920x1200 ( http://www.gpd.hk/pocket.asp ), but not quite sure since I need Joystick in order to play properly and the idea of bringing my Logitech F710 is... not quite good and too bold out

Neato! Now I will consider buying this next month!

Another question to you all: Netbooks 10"~10.1" (these mini laptops), will Stardew Valley also play in netbooks? I read it needs DirectX 10 and only Windows 8 and up are supported, but I am asking here as well.
