Scarecrow placement?

What's the best way to place them? I'm bad at planning things without seeing a picture. Thanks!

I use the Stardew valley planner to decide how to place scarecrows, sprinklers and crops:

You can load you save game into the planner and then play around with placement. There's a toggle for scarecrow and sprinkler highlighting so you can check coverage.
