What spouses do
So I married Sebastian, and I was looking on the wiki and it says that after marriage he'll water crops, feed animals and other things, but he's only done one thing the day we got married and that's its. It's currently summer time, and going by the wiki he's supposed to water crops. Do I need to interact with him more after marriage for him to do these things?

All of the spouses do the same chores, thought I'd mention that.

Gift and smooch him daily, should do the trick.

In my experiences spouses only do those things occasionally. They won't take on those jobs full time. However, in my games by the the time I get married I usually am using sprinklers for all my crops and have upgraded barns and coops to the autofeed versions. That really only leaves mending the (hardwood) fences and watering the pet's bowl. I do make sure to keep my spouse at 13/12 hearts through regular gifting, talking, and kissing.

TreyNutz is fairly accurate, although there's one more thing that spouses can do. If you married a girl, she'll sometimess either cook breakfast or dinner (although I married Abigail and she once gave me a cherry bomb instead). If you married a man, he'll sometimes make coffee for the both of you. My one tip is to make sure you kiss your spouse every day the first moment you get to, and gift your spouse with liked and loved gifts (I've found that neutral gifts don't really do anything). It's also kind of obvious that gifting disliked or hated items will decrease the bond, so look up on the Wiki what to/not to give your spouse. They'll also get upset at you for not keeping the farm clean while they're out on the town or doing something else, so keep your farm clean, too. That's pretty much all the info I have to give.

This isn't true.
Alex has never given me coffee, but has made me breakfast more times than I can count.

What gifts they give you depends on the spouse, and the kind of food they cook does as well.

Okay, didn't realize it was just a once in a while kind of thing. I'm going to have to redo my farm then, but I'll worry about that when I get my greenhouse.

It's not exactly a once-in-a-while thing, but it's not a daily thing either.

I've had times where Alex would make me breakfast every day, and some other times not at all for some days.

Then again this could have changed, but point is that it can happen very frequently and sometimes not. As for how I did it, I simply smooched and gifted him daily.

I've been doing that, but we just got married and he's not at max hearts yet. So I'll wait to see what happens.

I can atest to that. I rage quit when I spent all day at home canning, brewing and cooked her fav meal for when she got back. It was getting late so I thought I'd go look for her ( I've never stayed home all day before). As I walk up to the door and there she is comming in - went to do the marriage thing (talk and gift) and she said "Why is this place such a mess couldn't you have cleaned up in here" :o ! WHAT the h**l ! So I give here the food she says thank you - I try talking to her again and "WHAT". Grabbed up all the decorations, plants, everything and put it all into a chest and went to bed (which was a bad idea since it saved that day forever, no redo). I stayed in bed for 5 days then got up and didn't talk to her or anything. Went outside and removed all the animals, barn, coop and sprinklers then went back to bed for the rest of the month and just stopped playing.

I finally came back to the game two months later and picked up where I left off. I think I took the rejection a little to serious, But what can you say it's a good game.

I have to disagree. I've married Sam, Alex, and now Shane in the game. They all occasionally cooked food for me. I've never gotten coffee from them. Shane gave me a void egg once, and I think a battery pack. I don't recall anything other than food that Alex gifted to me. I've also never had a spouse complain about the farm not being clean. Maybe that's the way I play though.
