yeah, but if you compare

you see that even things like starfruit and ancient fruit have higher gold/day in preserves jars.
obviously there's also the factor of crop growth time vs cooking time, but idk.
but there comes a point where the jars will overconsume your product, and cause a halt in production of resources. thats the point where you need to switch over to kegs, and why, over a long period of time, the kegs will provide a more sustainable product.
jars will get you started. kegs will carry you to the end.
