Exhausted: How to recover aside from sleep?
What an annoying feature O_o I keep misclicking after getting tired then becoming exhausted, having to SLOWWWLYYY walk all the way home. I rage quit this time, but surely there must be a way. Can I just sit still for a bit to recover? Or something I can do?

Easiest way to avoid misclicking is to keep your scythe or sword on your toolbar, and keep your slider on that, since it consumes no energy when used. I had the same problem years ago.

I'm pretty sure you can eat food to regain your run speed, although you'll still start the next day with less energy. Just keep a good bit of food on you.

You can go to the bed but when the game asks if you want to sleep you say no, but stay in the bed, you can also go to the spa.

You can eat something to stop moving so slowly, get a Muscle Remedy from the clinic to get rid of exhaustion and I believe if you are married, kissing your spouse for the first time in a day will remove exhaustion also.

Keep a better eye on your energy, don't keep a tool in your hands unless it's a sword or scythe, use food, muscle remedies, forage to boost your health. Go to the spa, it's sooooo much quicker than laying in bed.

Nice thx, seems like the best way to go is to keep scythe || sword equipped.

You can use Any type of food for energy when its low, you'll just need to keep some with you when you need it

Also you're able to go to the spa at the trainstation to recover energy.

Keep some of your edible items, and eat them -- ESPECIALLY forage items, if you want to be frugal about it.

Some forageables are worth selling, but others ... not necessarily. A good example is salmonberries ... once you get to their grow period in Spring, horde the living hell out of them. Don't sell ANY. You'll have enough to carry at least 5 per day around with you at all times for many weeks, to shore up your energy (they also make great gifts for those that like them, like Leah and Linus).

In terms of crops, a good example for energy is hops, which can take over when your salmonberries start to run low. They're not worth much for selling, and processing them into booze is time-consuming, but you can farm a hell-ton of them on a tiny plot of land, and they just keep giving every day. Hops give a great ratio of energy per 1 g.

Long story short, stop dumping every food item into the shipping bin, no matter how big the dollar signs in your eyes are ... they're also for using in-game to combat fatigue. Eventually, you'll have so many food items lying around, it's not going to be an issue. Cook once in a while -- again, get out of the habit of selling everything. You'll still make plenty of money.

I don't recommend using the spa until you can warp around -- it's too far out of the way, and time is money. As for "misclicking" ... the sooner you learn that everything that isn't a tool-use that you want to do in the game is done with right-click, not left-click, you'll be better off. Kill your left-click instincts; you only use that if you can clearly see which tool you have equipped, AND your target tile both. Do you have your viewable tile of action turned on in the options?

The resting in bed is yes in co-op mode, but not in single-player.
