1 Million Gold - What is the best spend?
So soon I'll have 1mil gold to burn on something and I'm wondering which of these I should pick:

Shrine of Endless Fortune - Equal chance of produces a Diamond, Iridium Bar, Omni Geode, or Gold Bar per day. On birthdays it produces the favorite gift for that NPC.

Earth Obelisk - Warps you to the Mountains

Water Obelisk - Warps you to the Beach

or saving another million for

Return Scepter - Teleports you home

I don't think you can spend a million gold on anything else but let me know what you guys think.

Of those, I'd go for the Statue or save up for the Scepter. The Obelisks are really only worth it if you visit those areas virtually every day. The Scepter is great because it can give you a couple extra hours in the Mines or Skull Cave; just warp home immediately before bedtime, without worrying about the trek back. The Statue is a pretty steady source of Iridium, and it's good for boosting the affections of NPCs who are otherwise hard to shop for, so to speak (I'm looking at you, Caroline).

Interesting... That didn't used to be a loved gift for her, I don't think. Must have changed in a recent update. Or perhaps my old list is incomplete.

They probably changed it since she doesn't seem to love anything in existence other than Pierre and fish tacos.
