Storage Space
I've had a game where I got pretty far, but then I restarted because I made some bad skill decisions in that game. I used to keep my artisan object things in a shed, and my chests were inside my house, but in my new game I don't yet have a shed and my chests are inconvenient in my house. I was wondering where the best place (or just a good place) is to keep furnaces, chests, and artisan objects. I would rather have chests together, and furnaces and kilns together, and all my artisan objects together, but the three different categories can be in different places across the farm.

If you could have a shed, take that. But if you cannot build one right now you can put them outside your house (on the farm somewhere) where do you want. Or you can place them in coop or barn too! they have a lot of space and its a pretty good storage thing

I place frequently used items beside the path to town. For instance a couple of chests and recycling machines below it and furnaces etc above it. Because your shipping bin is there too you use that area a lot so can quickly see whenever there are finished products available.

This is true too

You can build another house for co-op mode and just store things in there. Cheap alternative to shed but just smaller.

Thank you! Currently I am saving up for a shed, and I am keeping my furnaces and artisan things behind the shipping bin, and my chests in-front of my house.

I'm honestly not sure why you'd build a shed anyway. It's more expensive than a basic barn, and it's smaller on the inside.

(Yeah... I get that you can customize the interior, but is that really that important?)

Everyone plays differently, some people just might not want to deal with animals so they stay away from those types of buildings.

The point is, it's a building, you get to decide what it's for.

Just because you can put animals in it, doesn't mean it's required.

And the point is, they want a Shed.. not a barn. What's so wrong for them to choose what they want in their farm space?

I prefer to get a shed for storage space rather than a barn because I want only one barn, one coop, etc. If I used another barn, I would have two barns and then one coop, and I think it looks better to use a shed. If I used the same barn I used for animals, the animals could get in the way of my objects/
