Finishing lost bundle, first year personal challenge (spoilers)
Lots of people have tried (and succeeded!) in completing the community center by year 1 as a challenge. How many of you are going to try for the movie theater too? What strategies would you suggest?

I was able to finish it winter 24th year 1, but I did used two mods (cheated a little) - skull cavern elevators, and the mod that shows peoples location on the map. Other than that, it was a clean play. Not sure I would have gotten the dino egg on a special floor around floor 50-ish without the elevator; or a prismatic shard in time without it. Has anyone done it mod free?

Sharing my experience and tips:
1: you will need a rain totem to trigger the event in winter year 1- if you forget, and its winter without truffles; you will be in a bad spot. Save a truffle oil.
2: I found it helpful to fast track the greenhouse - use those seed makers to get lots of ancient fruit going.
3: Red cabbage is still a problem - it’s all up to luck on that..
4: Consider not entering the new dungeon in the quarries; - you don’t need surprise floors of flying skulls showing up in the standard mines (well, yet) .
Note: did it without the aged wine - couldn't upgrade the house fast enough to have it ready by year 1

Community Center completion in year one is pretty easy to do imho so long as you know what to do from spring. The biggest fail conditions are the Red Cabbage, then probably Rabbit Foot, Truffle, apples, pomegranate, and finally the Maki Roll.

As for the movie theater in year one, it wouldn't be any harder but rather it will just rely on more luck in order to get Ancient fruit early on, to be able to find the Dino egg (though much easier now given the dino floors), and the prismatic shard. Caviar and wine would be the easiest to get of course, and unless you have an issue triggering the Dark Talisman quest like I do the Void Salmon is an easy one as well.

I actually have a day by day guide for clearing the community center in year one that i've written up.

I never understood the point of a challenge run that relied entirely on luck, something you have no control over. You can do everything perfect, but not get the red cabbage, just because of a coin toss.

Seems like getting the cellar in time to age wine up to silver might also be tricky, but at least it's not RNG - just an additional timelock.

Yeah, Red Cabbage is frustrating but tbh there havent been many playthroughs where I didnt get one. you have 35 chances for the travelling cart (imcluding the night market) and a 1.26% chance for the seeds or 2.5% for the cabbage itself (Im sure someone can math the exact chance of never finding either of those in year one). I get the frustration though, my current game only got the cabbage on the second night of the Night Market!

In my opinion Burglar's Ring is very important for this challenge - to make farming prismatic shard and dino's egg easier. Right now I'm in the middle of Fall, Year 1, and I had 2 PS and 3 DE so far.

As for other parts of the bundle - no casks just yet, but I'll get them in the winter, unlocked greenhouse at Fall 10 and planted 46 AS, so no problem with AF, haven't built any fish ponds, but this is not hard, probably? Unfortunately no signs of red cabbage so far and I don't have any rabbits (yet).

Didn't know anyone would want it. Its more a list of things to remember and optimize for the first year.
