lava eel is pretty bad, made exponentially worse by all the trash you catch before even having a chance at catching one
worst "normal fish" is probably lingcod, because he's just as bad as octopus and squid, but he's there ALL DAY, in both the river and lake, so you can only really fish in the ocean reliably during winter

Aww. Just about everybody who playes SV can relate to this post. We were all there once :-)
Today for example, I nearly reached the last 5% of acquiring it. Then all of a sudden in the LAST FREAKING 5% it becomes fking elastic or something idk... Jumps EVERYWHERE. And I lose it after fighting it for half a minute. Such a rage moment lol.
Scorpion Carp is a dart fish thus he has more random movement than say an octopus (sinker) or most other hard fish.

The Glacierfish is a waiting game--you simply have to wait for when you catch one that zags and zigs in a way that makes it easy for you to hang on. Be patient, use food buffs and the cork bobber lure and you'll get it. The Legend is far more erratic. I remember hating catching it when I firstt got the achievement. It took forever.
