FYI, you can store all wearable except weapon/tools inside Dresser.
game wise
Lovely, but still 'twould be nice to be able to do this without mods. Otherwise, it's like the old 1990s JRPGs where you could claim a peachy-keen Masamune-style sword after the last boss battle, but you couldn't do anything with it in the game itself (although had mods been available back then for those games, I'm sure somebody would have come up with one so players could have one for the main game).
The point is: if they're going to put the ability to create clothes in the game, it shouldn't take a mod to be able to gift or sell them to other characters. It just shows lack of foresight on the part of the developers. Then again, with that being pretty much the standard nowadays, this is why mods are necessary.
Rant over, it's Curmudgeonly Sunday in Stardew Valley, have a brownie before Linus breathes all over them.
The mod is nice though, it changes every villagers outfit for every season, event and even when it rains/snows.
it would be nice to see it official, But saying "Changing player clothes" should mean "CHANGE EVERYONES CLOTHES!" isn't worthwhile
Tailoring is there for you, The AI has their 'tastes' and even in that mod i suggested, Theres a lot of stuff that doesn't feel appriorate for the character. Because they're designed with 1 outfit in mind.
