Items are not showing in the collection

I have several Items I already collected/shipped and so on but they are not showing in my collection. For example I donated Nautilus Fossil and Skeletal Tail to the museum but in the collection there's still a "???". Same appears to cockle for fishing or Iridium Bar.

Is anyone having the same issues or knows how to fix that issue?

Did you collect them legit or did you spawn them in via ItemID?

I think you have to sell them in order for them to count in the collection tab

The number of items Collected is shown on the list of items when you mouse over the items in Collections.. Items Shipped in shipping bin towards the shipping achievement is different from donating to museum achievement I think.. So an item can maybe only count towards being shipped and also towards being donated to the museum if you have collected 2 of that item possibly (one for donating to the museum and one for shipping) so maybe go to the museum and look at which items are on the museum tables? Or hover over items in your inventory and see if any say "Gunther can tell you more about this item" (indicating that it has not yet been Donated to the Museum)

That's not the issue since as soon as you caught a fish or found an artefact etc. it'll show in your collection no matter if you sent or donated it. Otherwise legendary fishes would not count. So it's for sure a bug. I catched and shipped dozens of cockles or of the other items that are not shown in the collection.

Yes I think every time an item is 'collected' it should immediately show up in the collections page of items 'found'... regardless of if you donate it or ship it. And if you mouse over the item shown in the collections page it should show how many have been 'found' so far. So yeah sounds strange your found items have not been showing up in the collections page.

Edit : Something to note is that an Item like the Iridium Bar is something that is not generally Found (it is smelted) so it has a place on the 'Items Shipped' page but not on the page for 'Ores and Minerals Found' Also the Nautalus Fossel has a place on the Artifacts Found page but not on the Items shipped page (on the Items Shipped page it is for a Nautalus Shell) So yeah if you are shipping Iridium bars and they are not showing on the Items Shipped Page and also you are finding and even donating Nautilus Fossil and Skeletal Tail and they are not showing up on the Artifacts found page then something is really buggy..

Have you tried to check/verify your game files yet?

I also have this problem, if some have a link to another discution in wich they adress this issue please share it, i personaly would be so thankful

For cockle in the fishing tab, it has to be found in a crab pot. Picking it up on the beach doesn't count. The fishing items also don't have to be shipped, just acquiring it the right way will add it to the collection.

I found a way to solve this issue in the gamecoding. But since it's been quite a while, I don't remember where I found it. Anyway, its a quite common bug people experience with the game. If anyone is interested, I can search for the link.
