When does Evelyn give you the pot? I have got her to 10 hearts but no event!

I don't think it's hearts I think it's time iirc. Year 2 but can't remember if spring or summer.
Just went to the wiki. You've got to complete the greenhouse

It's related to the greenhouse actually. According to the wiki :

The cutscene triggers at some point after completing the greenhouse, when you exit the Farmhouse between 6am and 11:30am on a day when it's not raining.

It's vague because they haven't figured out exactly when she shows up, according to the discussion about the Garden Pot article.

I'm in year 2, I got the cut scene in the fall after I completed all the bundles for the community center, I don't think it's necessary to have 10 hearts with her though, because I definitely didn't. Not sure if this is helpful at all but..

You just have to finish the greenhouse and she'll be on your doorstep on a day that's not raining

I am not sure what the problem here is.

In my most recent play-through, Farmer Stanley completed the bundles for the greenhouse, and the next day (which was not raining), Evelyn was at his front door in the morning with a pot and a recipe.

The pots are most useful. There are currently a dozen tea bushes planted in granny pots in Farmer Stanley's living room and bedroom, because the lovely Caroline loves green te.

I recently got the pot and I definitely did not have many hearts with her. I believe it was either during summer or fall. Year 2, greenhouse finished, but she did not appear immediately after I finished my greenhouse. I cannot think of any particular event that triggered her cut scene. I just moved on to the next day and woke up to the cut scene. Felt very random, but really appreciative either way.
