New townspeople?
I'm glad there is so much to do and see in the game as it is, and bless CA for continuing to support this gift he has given us. I was wondering though if it may be time to add some new blood into Pelican Town or Stardew Valley at large? There is a space behind Jodie/Kent's house that is fenced in, but COULD be a space for a new house if need be. Marnie and the Wizard could stand a neighbor or two as well IMO. Would be interesting to see CA hand off scenario writing for these characters to other people too if he didn't want to.

I'd like to see some Gotoro immigrants/refugees move in behind Kent :steamhappy:

There is a similar line of thought among advocates of so-called “refugees” and non-white immigration to America, that posits all the empty land in rural America is just unused space that could go towards housing said refugees and immigrants. Now, the idea is just recycling the reservation system used to contain Native Americans, updated for the 21st century. But the premise is still “unused space, so let’s fill’er up!” I only mention it because, unlike IRL, space in a video game such as SDV is practically infinite. If we’re going to shove globalist pro-refugee propaganda into video games, I also demand equal treatment be given to providing extended rural areas. E.G., balance it out with a new rural area to explore. :steammocking:

Whuttt? Way to suck all the joy out of a thread.

I don't know why you'd ever bring up this topic in a game forum. Moving on...

I think it would be cool if some of those empty spaces you mentioned could have the houses of some of the stationary characters (i.e. the librarian, the Jojo customer service employee). I always felt like it was so weird that they stay inside one building all day while all the other NPCs get to walk around and have places to live.

There is no sleep. There is no live. You only work for Joja. This is established in the resume, applicant to Joja Amendement L453 Paragraph 1 in the liability clause.
