There is also animal husbandry
I THINK there's a mod that makes cooking profitable.
There's an animal husbandry and butchery mod. It lets you breed barn animals far easier, and butcher them for meat rather than waiting for eggs/milk. Also added new meat-based recipes.
There's a tractor mod that turns your horse into a tractor, and the stable into a small tool shed. You can ride the tractor while holding down a key, such as holding down the hoe, to till soil as you move. Same thing with watering, planting seeds and fertilizer, I think.
There's a mod that shows where NPCs currently are on the map.
There's also new skill mods, but I think they're fairly niche and buggy. I know there's a Cooking mod for making better food, a Magic mod for both combat and farming, and a Luck mod to increase your luck.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen to many "balanced" add-ons, but those are the only ones I care for. For example, the winery - it costs money, you have to wait for Robin to build it, and it takes up space on your farm. That's balanced. I want more mods like that. I want a bigger silo to hold more hay, or to be able to craft "deluxe" crab pots with gold bars and hardwood to only catch lobsters or something. Unfortunately, it seems like 85% of mods are either unbalanced, buggy, or cosmetic. The ones I listed above are the popular, fairly balanced ones I've seen.
Tractor mod doesn't replace the stable and a horse. It adds a new building that costs tons of money (100k if I remember correctly) 10 iridium bars and some other things. And it is configurable. You can have both a horse and a tractor at the same time, though the horse whistle mod may have problems and summon your tractor onstead of a horse.
