Marnie gives me a dog, cutscene repeats itself.

It's Day 20 of Spring. I go outside and Marnie is there. She says she found a stray dog and asks if I would like to adopt it. I choose 'yes,' because sure, I'd like a dog. She asks me to give it a name. I name it.

Then the screen fades and the cutscene repeats. Same dialog. I name it again. Cutscene repeats over and over again. It doesn't matter what name I give the dog. I tried the default name Yogi. I rolled the dice several times. I cannot leave my house now.

I have verified the game cache. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. Still facing the same issue.

I don't have any mods, either.

this bug sounds weird. does it only happen on the 20th of spring? have you tried going to bed right away and try with the 21st?

That's a very weird sounding bug.

Hmm... I think CA has broken ties with Chucklefish, but their SDV bug section (or thier support section) might still be the place to look.
