Whats the point of the spa?
It seems like no one is ever there and nothing happens there?

you can regenerate stamina when you swim long enough but it takes quite a considerable amount of time as its so friggin slow. i ve never really used the spa in any of my playthroughs as its not worth the time.

I think it regenerates faster if you stay still, but I could be wrong about that.

Actually, I think it's only if you stay still. (Also glitch combo to perma spa is awesome)

It regenerates energy.

However: It does it slowly, so ... it costs you time.
Additionally, it takes time to get there.
And more time to go through the changing area into the acual spa.

Unless you happen to be right next to it, I don't really think it's worth it, just keep some cheap food on you instead.

My theory is that the guy who made the game was a super casual player. There's several things in-game that feel really under-balanced or just for fun but not useful at all. The spa is one of them. It's fine for a casual playthrough, but real players will only find use for certain things during challenge runs.

you have a hearths event cutscene in the spa with penny at 8 or 10 hearths

leaving aside cutscenes its good if you are moneymonger i.e. you sell all your food together with other things,
and its considerably usefull if you play 25% ProfitMargin on your own
it still takes time tho
