Getting Hardwood
I'm wondering if there could be a better way to get hardwood than the grindy method that is available i.e. getting roughly 12 logs from the Secret Woods each day, couldn't there be a better and easier way to acquire more?

I take the perk that gives you a chance of obtaining hardwood from regular trees, then pick a corner of my farm and just let tons of trees grow there. Then I chop them down the fully grown ones and hope for the best. Not really efficient but it helps in the long run.

I take the perk that gives you a chance of obtaining hardwood from regular trees, then pick a corner of my farm and just let tons of trees grow there. Then I chop them down the fully grown ones and hope for the best. Not really efficient but it helps in the long run.

Well, as the person above mentioned you can grab the Lumberjack perk or you can always just use the Forest farm which provides sources of hardwood.

If you're into the Mines yet at all, then there's a good chance of getting Hardwood by busting open the crates and barrels in there. It's not a great main source, but as a supplement to going into the Secret Woods, it does alright, in my experience.

Ah I never got that perk, I decided to pick the tracker one.. guess that really got me in the end since I guess Tracker is okay.. but not super great.

Yeah probably should have, although I doubt I'd restart my whole farm just to pick a new area.

Well, if you want to change perks there's a way to do it in the sewers when you get access to them.

this farm I've had, since when I got the game, so I don't really want to restart.. just to get a forest farm
