Regarding Elliot's 10-Heart Event on the days of the Night Market

I've already got Elliot up to 10 hearts, and have received his invitation to meet him on the docks at morning to activate the heart event. I can't seem to activate it. The only thing I noticed is that I'm currently at Winter 15 (start of the Night Market). Is that the reason why I can't activate the heart event?

that could be it. as long as the market is there, there shouldn't be an event.

I assume likewise, I have lots of Crab Pots on the beach and on the Night market they vanish, but come back after, so I guess Night Market is a Beach 2.0 Map.
