Best ways to grind for an ancient seed is to either grind monsters in level 1-40 of the mines to try and get the artifact drop, or to use the seed maker and load fast-growing crops like wheat or blueberries into it.
Thanks!
Be aware that the Ancient Fruit plants take an entire season to grow. If you're going to plant them outside, it's best to do it in early spring in order to maximize the return you get. Or wait until you have a Greenhouse, and grow them in there.
Oh? Is there a chance to get ancient seeds from other plants in the seedmaker? I'd always just gotten them from the artifact drop!
Hops is a good crop to use for the seedmaker in this instance because a single hops starter sells for more than unprocessed hops, unlike other prolific crops like blueberries. It'll also take up less space and money compared to wheat.
