at what time do animals usually feed

ive heard from somewhere that if you sleep before the animals eat, they dont get fed for that day, what time should i be sleeping so that they can all be fed

Either you have the deluxe version of barns / coops or not. If yes, the buildings will put food automatically into the feeding tray. If you don't have either yet, you have to take out food out of the hay hopper yourself and place it. I usually do that right after waking up and checking the TV. Dunno if time of the day is important at all though, as long as you actually do it.

If you sleep before I believe 6 PM, it'll affect them. I'm going based off my memory at this point, so I could be a little off. They do eat grass right away when they go outside, though.

But yeah, the hay will stay put in the area you put it in if you sleep before then, if you don't have them go outside.

Some of this depends on how many animals you have too. I had a 40+ pig farm once (for some reason) and they tend to get in each others way--even if I stayed up all day, 4 or 5 would get blocked off from the grass outside and the feeding trough and go to sleep hungry
