Lobster / Beets

Okay, I am really at wits end right now --

1) how do I get the lobster? I have crab traps set up everywhere but I never get a lobster.
2) where do I buy beets or beet seeds? I can never find them anywhere and I need to put 10 of them into the Mayors fridge!

lobster is usually catch with crab pots when u put them in the beach

If you cannot go to oasis yet, there's another option. If you can buy a beet at the traveling cart (fridays in the forest), you can make beet seeds. It takes 6 days in fall to produce beets, so you must start on day one and pray you'll get at least 10 seeds on the 24th. Speedgro could help achieving this. But it's probably easier to just pay for the bus repairment at the communitycenter.

Lobsters = crab pots at the beach. They're just rare. If you have 10 at the beach and check them daily, you should get at LEAST one per week, if not more.

Thank you :) I did just that and finally got one. Now just trying to get those damn beets! I am almost done paying for the bus fix, so hopefully I will be able to find the beets wherever that bus takes me.

Also Iridium Bar. Cannot find any Iridium ugh

You can very rarely get iridium from the mines, but the desert has its own mine with much tougher enemies and iridium. Before repairing the bus, your best chance at iridium is cracking omnigeodes, using the copper pan to get it from the water, or from fishing up treasure chests.

I think you can very rarely get it as a drop from shadow brutes or something...

Iridium:

-In early, you can get the ores or sometimes bars from enemy drops and the different geodes.

-The Quarry also is a good option, but it rarely generates.

-During Fishing you can find Treasure Chests. They have a chance to contain a small amount of ore.

-.If you repaired the bus, you gain acces to the Calico Desert, and the Skull Cavern. However you need to find the Skull Key at the 100 or 120 levels of the mines.

-Killing Purple Slimes in the Skull Cavern

-Another option is the Statue of Perfection, which gives you a random amount of Iridium ore every day. You can get it by scoring 12 or higher points in Grandpa's Evaluation. Your first chance comes after Year 2. If you fail (which is the most likely), don't worry, you have infinite chance to try, simply putting a diamond in Grandpa's Shrine. If all four candle lit on the shrine, click on it, and you get the Statue of Perfection.
The easiest tasks are:
-Obtaining the Skull Key and Rusty Key* gives you 1-1 point, for a total of 2 points.
-Completing the Community Center gives you 1 point.
-Participating in the Community Center Completion Ceremony** gives you two points
-Have a Friendship at least four Hearths with your Pet*** gives you 1 ponits
-Collecting 300 000 Gold**** gives you 4 points
-Maxing out all of your skills gives you 2 points

* You can obtain te Rusty Key by donating 60 items to the Museum
** The Ceremony tkaes place the day after you finished every bundle, except if it's a Festival Day or Raining.
*** If the game send you this popup " <Animal Name> loves you ♡" it's enough to the point.
**** It means the Total Earning, not your current money.You can check it under the "Skills" option
