Mod clothing fix?

So i've redownloaded a few mods after the 1.4 update to see if stuff works, some are a little outdated though, and for whatever reason everything in 1.14 works as expected except shirts (well the two I've seen) are just registered as large brown squares. taking it off reveals a black square underneath. I may have messed up the shirt files, does anyone know a fix before I start ripping out mods to see if that fixes it?

Given that clothing items are now equippable instead of baked into the character, that might be the issue. I'm not sure how backwards compatibility for those clothings mods would work, really.

Maybe one removed the specific file about the new clothes items. Would explain why they're textureless slabs.
Do you know which folder/file the new clothes are under? I could see if it got replaced

Looks like it's under

Stardew Valley\Content\Characters\Farmer\

all in their own separate xnb files.

Okay I replaced all the clothing files with my friend's unaltered files but it looks like I'm still wearing a box for a shirt. Unsure what else to try. Might just reinstall the game and avoid the mod I'm thinking ruined everything
