How many days does the forageables and worms stay?
Hello :)

Quick question. Does anyone know how many days the forageable items and worms stay on the map? I mean if I skip an entire day or two of going into town and decide to work on my farm instead, will I lose the items? Are they staying there for a few days? Same for worms.

I want to manage my time effectively but I want to make sure I collect as many things as possible. I don't want to miss out on items hidden in the town.

Anyone know? How many days can I skip going to town and still have access to those items?
Same for salmonberries. Do they accumulate over the days?

Thanks!

They are there and build up for the week. I think they reset on Sunday, so you can ignore them and then gather all on Saturday to be efficient.

Nice. So new ones added on Wednesdays or Thursdays will add up to the ones being there since Sunday and I can clean the whole thing up on Saturdays. So basically, some are there for 6-7 days, some 3 days. Full cleanup on sundays?

Pretty much, yeah. I think that some areas have a sort of cap on how many items can appear on the ground, though, so it might be good to check 2-3 times a week if you've got time. Like once on Sunday, again on Wednesday, then again on Saturday.

If a daffodil spawns on Sunday, it'll stay all the way until Saturday, and then disappear when you go to bed Saturday night. But if you grab that daffodil on Sunday, then on Tuesday a new one might spawn in that same location.

Still, forage isn't "that" good, so it's really not worth worrying about after Spring Y1. Early game, you'll want all the "no energy spent" money and food you can get your hands on. By Summer, most players have better sources of food and money.

Exactly why I don't want to spend all 7 days of the week running around town to gather all items. I want to focus on other things. Nice to know I can plan my saturdays for cleanup days, and even if I don't have a new one spawning at its same spot, I don't mind. Once a week running around town is fine. As you said, there will be other things more valuable. But I still like to collect all items, and that's why I don't want to miss out on certain items.

Same mechanic for worms or salmonberries? Saturday my last chance before everything resets?

Salmonberries only appear for about three days during spring so you have to get them while you can. They're not worth much but early spring year 1 they're a vital source of energy so worth spending those three days gathering as many as you can.

The worms reset every day, so when you see those, do your best to dig them up.
