Fishing Skill won't Level Up

I've been on Fishing Level 9 for a hot minute. I'm on Year 7 and I fish literally every day, so I'm thinking something is wrong... Is there anything I can do?

The wiki says you'd need to harvest 1000 crab pots, or catch about 250 fish to get from level 9 to level 10. If you're sure you've exceeded that, then it's bugged, and you can "soft reset" it by going to the sewer and paying 10k. I had an issue with my Foraging level one time, it absolutely wouldn't go from level 8 to 9 after an entire season of growing about 1000 foraged crops. I reset it at the statue, and a few days later I leveled up.

I can't be sure, but I THINK when this happens, your XP is stuck at the bare minimum for level 9, so it'll still take awhile to level up. But if you're positive you should be level 10 (read - caught at least 300 fish since level 9) then I think it's best to reset at the statue.

If you've never used the statue before: It costs 10k, and it lets you re-pick your profession. (So you can pick between fish being worth more, or crab pots being cheaper to craft.)

Thank you, while I'm certain I've caught that many fish I'll start counting them up and then do the reset, at this point 10k is no big deal but I'm achievement hunting TY!!!!
