did gus get patched? hes not saying my name when i talk to him

No one... so stop going after people for "cheating" or wanting to be able to make money when it doesn't effect you or anyone else. ConcernedApe themselves thought it was funny people were doing that and didn't see a reason to remove it. This was until it effected gameplay on the Switch and made people unable to play it at all. Then ConcernedApe fixed the money exploit on the Switch and APOLOGIZED for having to do so. If ConcernedApe didn't care, why are people wasting their time attacking and belittling people for it? Move on to something worth arguing about.

The exploit where Gus talks an unlimited amount of times and there was a bug in the coding where if your name was [6666] for an example and that was an item id, you would get that item. Do you could make your name the id of the Legend fish, a Prismatic Shard, and a Treasure Chest and make more money than you could ever use on your first day of a new game.

They fixed that exploit regardless so it shouldn't matter :P

it should get fixed i mean people have mods where they can literally just go into creative and spawn stuff this should be allowed too

Geez, if you want to cheat just use an item spawner or something. Easier than having to name yourself a specific name and be stuck getting only that one item when you could use the spawner to get anything instantly.
