1.3.28 or 1.3.29?

I need a bit of help, I play with mods and according to SMAPI my game needs to be version 1.3.29 to be able to play it.
I don't know whether my game is not updated, SMAPI is wrong or I'm just completely stupid and have no idea what I'm talking about

A little help if you know anything about this?

I'm actually experiencing the same issue right now. I tried to manually update my game by uninstalling, verifying the game files, and everything else I could think of. It's not wrong, it does look like the SMAPI is for version 1.3.29 but that's a beta version and there's currently no option in Steam that I can find to opt in to that beta version ):

Use the normal SMAPI 2.7, not the beta. Normal Download is for 1.3.28 which the game is. 1.3.29 Stardew Valley is curently in beta and not on live channel

how to play in beta ? not to much mod can use in Stardew Valley 1.3.28 , and so many ppl play in SDV 1.3.29 beta server , but im not get the update for beta . how to play in 1.3.29 beta ?

So...uh, I haven't played in a while. And I can't play with my mods because they are not updated. Went to check and the updated ones are for the beta which I'm not opted in.

Uh so my question is, do I Have to install the beta ones in order to play? How about you?
