And if you want to do bundles but you missed a chance to get certain seasonal items for them, you'll have to either wait for that season to come around again, or hope you get lucky and find what you need by rummaging through trash cans or seeing if the travelling merchant is selling it at some point.
Joja Story: You purchase a Joja merbership in the Jojamart, it then replaces the community center with the warehouse. Instead of putting in item bundles you will then have to pay for each thing to be repaired or otherwise.
Stardew Story: You just make the bundles and let the Junimos work their magic as you complete the rooms.
As far as the quality crops bundle, as long as its the same with PC, which would be gold star parsnip, corn, pumpkin and melon I think? to choose from. But you only need to turn in 3, thats if its the same as PC. Therefore as long as its summer and you have enough time to grow a melon crop you're okay. I'd say have about 10 fertilized plots for melon and corn then you can grow 2 in 1 season and just wait for fall to get pumpkins. If you dont have the time left in summer then you are pretty much SOL.
Again this being only if the bundles are the same for PS4 as they are for PC
I have no idea if what you eat helps the quality of crops sown, but I think food is more related to improving your stats than anything else.
I don't know what Farming level you're at, but have a look at your crafting menu and see what fertaliser/s you can make. Quality fertaliser will help you gain gold star crops.
The regular fertaliser you make from tree sap will make a difference, as will re-using the soil. I.e.; Use regular fertaliser on the soil, plant parsnips then, after harvesting them, re-plant parsnips. I've found this also works to give you gold star crops.
You can also check to see what fertalisers Pierre has in stock.
That being said you can eat food that gives +luck.
Edit: my mistake farming level does infact influence crop quality and daily luck doesnt. You should use fertilizer though to bring the average up. As even at level 10 farming with no fertilizer you'll still pull a decent number of no quality produce.
That being said eating +farming skill food while harvesting should increase the amount of higher quality produce.
Perhaps eating a +luck food before harvesting crops might increase your chances of pciking gold star ones. have to admit I've never tried that one :)
So focus on growing cauliflower this spring (That will help raise your farming level quickly), then, unless you need summer or fall crop bundles, focus on growing melons and corn in the summer (Corn is annoying to get the 5 gold ones needed, two seasons will help) and then pumpkins in fall.
Make your basic fertilizer, that takes only 2 sap! You can also buy fertilizers from Pierre don't forget!
