Really what is the point of buying the community upgrade for pams house. It costs 500000 gold and 1 stack of wood.

Because you should have an enormous excess of cash by the time you get to the late-game stage, and what the hell else are you going to spend it on? To me, 500k and a stack of wood is a drop in the bucket.

If you want an honest answer, there really is no point other than feeling good I guess, cause you bought Pam and Penny a house. But by the time you can afford buying the upgrade, you'll probably have an easy access to earning that amount of gold anyways so it's up to you really on how you waste your gold.

it gets rid of that ugly trailer and some surrounding trash. Plus you get to see Pam cry and make her feel bad. Totally worth 500k.
