I just don't like using money that I didn't earn. lol :P
Thanks for the info.
The problem is actually two-fold. Not only do you have no input into how you earn your money or how much you earn (which is the primary problem with socialism), but you also have no input into how you save it. It forces the players to, as a group, decide how money is saved, spent, and earned. Which is insanely idiotic, and literally no group/state/country in the history of the world--to my knowledge--has ever operated under such a system.
The reason Stardew Valley multiplayer works this way is simple. Because Concerned Ape never bothered to create separate money pools, so what's really happening is the host's money pool is accessible to all farmhands. Which is basically as if everyone in your town put all of their earnings into your wallet, but then had the ability to take as much out as they wanted, whenever they wanted, with no input from you whatsoever. Like I said, it's stupid.
Believe it or not, living as a human in a group which shares ressources was always a thing and not communism. Lol
If you have problems with that, your group is not working.
Shared money might seem poor at times, but it's actually pretty beneficial for a team of Stardew Veterans who know what they're doing. It allows them to best decide how to spend it. Besides, getting a ton of money with multiplayer is fairly easy. My friend and I fished so much that we got the coop, two fiberglass rods, and two backpack upgrades in the first week.
Just learn how to cope with it, and you'll find out it isn't so bad after all.
Don't you whiners know how to use the search function?
A search on 'shared money' returns 133 results.
Are those not enough for you?
Bottom line -- If you and your friends cannot handle sharing the money and play cooperatively, you need new friends.
Or maybe your friends need new friends.
It's coop, you're supposed to work together.
