Cant plant the second Ancient Seed I found

I took my first one to the Museum and was given a seed packet as I learned on Wiki.
However I now have another Ancient Seed, it's spring, and I tried to plant it in my garden but I cant. I've tried tilled w/ Fertilizer, without Fertilixer, untilled ground etc and I cant plant it
Not sure what I'm supposed to do now.
Ive also tried using the Seed Maker but that doesnt work either.
Its called an Artifact in the description too

you cant plant artifacts only seeds, if you've wasted the one you got from the museum, there are other ways of getting new ones.

like, getting a seed making machine and making seeds, there's a chance you'll get ancient seeds instead

but personally its safer to keep them untill you got the greenhouse unlocked and use them in there as they're safe to use all year

I still have the ancient seed from the museum. So how can I make this one a seed also?
Riedy, you said I could change it by crafting it? How would I go about doing that?
Also, Gane-Killah, I can't plant it outside?

With the artifact in your backpack, open your crafting tab and look for the seed packet recipe. Yes, you can plant it outside, except in winter.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Just get the crafting recipe from gunther when you donate your first one and you craft a packet from 1 in the crafing recipe. "SIGH"
