1. Do you have two barns, and you're asking if upgrading just one will unlock pregnancy in the second barn? If so, I THINK so, but I'm not sure. Getting a big coop unlocks an incubator, but only for big/deluxe coops. However, getting a big coop will let you buy ducks for a small coop, so... 50/50 chance.
2. You don't understand how building upgrades work? You don't buy a bigger barn, you can upgrade a barn to a big barn, then a big barn to a deluxe barn. You can't just buy a big barn, you need to upgrade a normal barn.
Either way: once you get a deluxe barn, you can buy pigs, and put them in any barn - small or big, plus you can have any animals in a building together.
