they're talking about all the audio cutting out entirely. not just the music deciding not to refresh until 3 hours have passed.
@audio problems - i would suggest using a virtual audio suite to set up and assign a dedicated channel to stardew valley audio outputs directly to your device, and see if that solves it for you. not all sound software works well together, using a program that specializes in this type of organization can fix it for you. many of these programs are open source and free, you basically just need to select the one you want.
