Chickens and Cows not being fed from silo/trough.
I have a silo, with ~90 hay. I can take hay in and out of my troughs to make sure they're getting to the coops. Thing is, my chickens and my cow are always angry, and are never producing anything. It looks like they're not eating, for some reason. I've tried taking out all the hay from the trough and putting it back in, doing the same thing but with the silo, and I don't know what to do now.

You're leaving hay in the feeding troughs overnight? As long as there's enough hay in the troughs in their barn/coop, they should each eat one overnight if they didn't go outside and eat grass. If they did go outside and eat some grass, then they won't eat any hay that night.

Also, Riedy, I'm pretty sure it's actually the 3rd and final tier of barns/coops that have autofeeding.

Okay, I don't know what season you're in, but have you tried placing 2 heaters in each building?

Also, are you petting your animals? They need to be petted daily until they reach 5 hearts when you can drop that to every other day or so. If they have no hearts, they will be grumpy and won't produce milk or eggs.

It is the 3rd upgrade which gives autofeeding; for 1 and 2 you have to manually place and re-place feed into the trough, but you should only need to do this once per day and the hay should be eaten each night as noted by Nulien.

Good luck on getting the issue sorted!

I tried getting my animals in their houses and closing the door, and it worked. Thanks, guys.
