Problem is, the game tends to get boring and rushed when you go Joja. It's a great option for when you want to test some game mechanics, such as doing a "no farming" run, but for a normal playthrough it's bad.
All you do is pay cash for the bundles. So instead of needing to wait for Winter to complete the foraging bundles, you can just spend 15k to unlock the quarry or mine carts or whatever.
Well if you know what to do, it's possible to complete the JoJa bundles within about 8 hours of gameplay. So you can do it in a day if you want, and then play for the good guys the next time around.
