Adjust time-passing speed in Multiplayer. Request/Suggestion
Hello! Since the "Keep request post" seems locked, I'm going to add a suggestion/request as a stand-alone thread.
I apologize if this isn't supposed to be here (?) but I have no idea where else to put it with the other one "locked".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Me and my BF play the multiplayer beta now, and we find the time passing to be way too fast when going through menues and it still throttles on.

In single player it's much easier to handle as you can go through chests and search for items, along with in the inventory of Old House (Bundles), without extreme stress since the time pauses whenever you're in a menu.

In Multiplayer, this doesn't happen.

(I also suggest a Search option in the chests, and perhaps a fast-sorting option so it stacks items in the same chest ((There's a mod for this)).)

In other MP games, you're able to adjust how fast time passes (Example; Project Zomboid).
This would be a great addition since that'd remove any stress and panic that might occur due to it being so speedy.

So, a way to select how fast 1-in game hour passes would be awesome.

As it is, I and others seek Mods to apply this option, since it does not exist.
And since Stardew Valley is a "Singleplayer" / Non-competetive game (such as WoW or CS etc)
adjusting these settings will not harm anyone but ourselfs - if any. :)

Thank you for reading and thank you for making Stardew Valley!

I know mods exist, and I address this in the topic - I am requesting/suggesting that they add it to the actual game rather than force us to go to mods. :)

The link I gave is a specific mod which allows the host player to freely control the flow of time in Stardew Valley. (Including making time take longer, time move faster and even freeze time)

By defintion you wish to change the intended game mechnics to fit your needs, so you are attempting to MODify your game.

By definition I am putting forward a suggestion to a great game that has fairly recently added multiplayer.
A suggestion with an option that exists in other MP games - such as I mentioned in the opener, which I feel you sort of did not read?

Example; Project Zomboid offers this. <--
It'd be great if we had option to tweak things in game, rather than have to turn to outside sources.

If you disagree, that's up to you, but I would love the option to decide -inside- the game.
And since many others seek this mod out, I am sure others would love it to be implemented as well!

Adding an option to play "Regular - 1h = 1h IRL" or whatever would be great to have IN GAME. :)

I'm quite sure I already told you I know of this mod, and I already told you I am asking for a -IN GAME- option, like other Multiplayer games have.
I feel like you're semi-arguing for arguing's sake, and passing a lot of what I type. :(

The Locked thread for "Multiplayer Requests" Means Requesting to play multiplayer, not for game feature requests. That should be posted in General Discussion.

That's very confusing tho. I looked in both general and here and I found it confusing.

Hope the mods can move this thread to where it is supposed to be, then. :)
