cane someone please tell me how to get Penny to be my girlfriend :( I try to talk to her every day but she just tells me some random crap about her mom. Basically I take whatever useless junk I find in the mines (Amythist, Topaz, etc.) and just pawn it off on her the next day. Sometimes she tells me that my gift is horrible and then runs away. Somebody plas help! I want to make love to my virtual pixelated girlfriend but the game won't let me.

The best girlfriend really only depends on you, they're all different and will please different kind of people by design.

Protip: every single NPC will hate Copper Ore as gift. Even Clint the blacksmith. Clint and Maru will be okay if given a Copper Bar, though.

Abigail loves Amethyst.
Maru loves Gold or Iridium Bars.

Emily is probably your best bet. She loves:
- Amethyst
- Aquamarine
- Emerald
- Jade
- Ruby
- Topaz

That stuff is very easy to find in the mines, Amethyst and Topaz in particular.

Most of the NPC's do not like unrefined ore, even Clint. Bars on the other hand, is usually an okay gift. Same goes for forgeables.

Easy cheap thing all of the NPC's like or are at least okay with: Coffee, either made yourself or gotten from the Stardrop Saloon. Pizza works on everyone and is a loved gift by some, besides Leah, who you should buy a salad for. It's one of her favorites.
