you're welcome :)
All of the alternate maps are a little more challenging because of the reduced space and irregular shapes, and the forest map has the least space. If you are not up to it, just play the standard map.
You might be best to play through on your forest farm (It's got about the second most land, after the standard) and then do another playthrough with mods. Or else start up a second save that's modded, and play it beside your current one
Actually, per the Stardew wiki, forest is the smallest.
Here are the amounts of tillable tiles from the Stardew wiki -- https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Farm_Maps
Standard -- 3427
Wilderness -- 2131
Hilltop -- 1648
Riverland -- 1578
Forest -- 1413
The forest is only slightly more than 40 percent the size of the standard farm. It is definitely a challenge.
In return you get additional forage, some berries and a ton of hardwood.
Oh cool, ok. I just warp back to the farm, if I make the mistake of going out that way. I'm always nervous about editing stuff.
