Which level 10 foraging skill would you choose?
When you've reached level 10 in the foraging skill area you have the choice of choosing two professions. One is called Botanist, Making foraged items always the highest quality (Iridium star :stardrop:) . And the other is called Tracker, revealing the location of foraged items. So what would you choose?

I went with botanist. Every blackberry or salmon berry (hundreds!), truffle from your pigs, or just random item you pick up is at it's best potential, be it in profit or potency.

I'd value tracker more if it actually showed you the exact location of an item, rather than an area pointing you to it's general vecinity. Add to that, some forgeables can appear in places you can't even access. If you're really hurting to find every artifact, you're also better off taking pirate (level 10 fishing skill) for treasure chests, and/or both mining skills which can increase geode finds.

Botanist. It's easy enough to find forage items without tracker and the increase in value from botanist is really lucrative, especially if you grow wild seeds or keep pigs.

Iridium truffles sell for more than truffle oil if you don't have the artisan profession.
