Purple star egg/milk or cheese/ mayonnaise
So I read somewhere that purple star eggs and milk do not produce purple star items. So does anyone know what makes more money. Selling the purple egg or selling the mayonnaise that the purple egg makes (i assume that it goes to gold, not 10% sure about that though)

I've gotten purple star mayo before. And the mayo (whether purple star or not) will sell for more than just an egg.

Oh really, so it is possible to get purple star items then. Well I guess I'll just continue making the mayonnaise etc. Thanks for answering

Egg: 50g (standard) / 60g (rancher)
Iridium Egg: 100g (standard) / 120g (rancher)
Large Egg: 95g (standard) / 114g (rancher)
Iridium Large Egg: 190g (standard) / 228g (rancher)
Mayonnaise: 190g (standard) / 228g (rancher) / 266g (artisan)
Gold Mayonnaise: 285g (standard) / 342g (rancher) / 399g (artisan)

Milk: 125g (standard) / 150g (rancher)
Iridium Milk: 250g (standard) / 300g (rancher)
Large Milk: 190g (standard) / 228g (rancher)
Iridium Large Milk: 380g (standard) / 456g (rancher)
Cheese: 200g (standard) / 240g (rancher) / 280g (artisan)
Gold Cheese: 300g (standard) / 360g (rancher) / 420g (artisan)
Iridium Cheese: 400g (standard) / 480g (rancher) / 560g (artisan)

Goat Milk: 225g (standard) / 270g (rancher)
Iridium Goat Milk: 450g (standard) / 540g (rancher)
Large Goat Milk: 345g (standard) / 414g (rancher)
Iridium Large Goat Milk: 690g (standard) / 828g (rancher)
Goat Cheese: 375g (standard) / 450g (rancher) / 525g (artisan)
Gold Goat Cheese: 562g (standard) / 675g (rancher) / 787g (artisan)
Iridium Goat Cheese: 750g (standard) / 900g (rancher) / 1050g (artisan)

Some basic rules to keep in mind:
1) Regular eggs / milk turns into normal quality mayo and cheese.
2) Large eggs / milk turns into gold quality mayo and cheese.
3) Neither of the above rules take input quality into account - iridium egg mayo is worth as much as normal egg mayo.
4) Cheese can be aged to iridium quality cheese with casks.

Looking at base price, normal quality eggs and milk are always worth processing, obviously. For iridium quality, it gets a bit more interesting. Eggs go from 100g to 190g, base price. Large eggs go from 190g to 285g, base price. Both these are worth the investment time. Milk goes from 250g to 200g, base price. Large milk goes from 380g to 300g, base price. These are not worth it. You can process them further in casks up to 400g base price each, but that's a long term investment and for the large milk, only improves the price by 20g beyond selling the raw product. Goat milk goes from 450g to 375g, base price. And large goes from 690g to 562g. Both these are also losses. As above, they can be improved, but I'd say it's not worth it.

Bottom line? Iridium eggs can be turned into mayonnaise. Iridium milk you should probably sell as-is.

Unless they added something in the beta, mayonnaise cannot have a quality other than normal or gold. No silver and no iridium.
