Dinosaurs?

I’ve been playing stardew valley for a few years now and still haven’t been able to come across a dinosaur egg. Does anyone have any tips for finding one or is it simply a luck of the draw kind of thing?

I have also gotten them from worms by Robin's house, and from fishing

Luck. I've had the best luck finding them from fishing chests.

If you're determined to get it, iridium fishing rod with the treasure hunter tackle and magnetic bait, along with the Pirate skill perk, will give the best chance of treasure chests.

All of artifacts (Dino Egg included) are about luck.

And, when you get that dino egg, hold onto it, so you can hatch it in your upgraded coop. This will get you a dinosaur who will eventually lay you a new egg, which you can then bring to gunther at the museum.

Same thing applies when you get the prismatic shard. I won't spoil it on what that does, but you'll want to use it. If you ever get another, bring that one to gunther.

in my 1st save 100+ hrs no egg :( started a new game file, and within a week i got an egg, 2 weeks later i got another egg -.-

as for the prismatic shard, 3 on my 1st save, 1 on my second -.- lucky i watched a DF video or i would have wasted my 1st at the museum

With some luck, you can manage to fish one from a treasure chest in the first spring... twice on different files. Don't ask how, I just got stupidly lucky. Also got a treasure chest in a treasure chest in one of those first springs.

search on the internet after a wallpaper that when u hatch it in ur upgraded Koop that will be an dinosaur.That little lizzard is then going to produce dinosaur eggs :D
