If you mean against all the repeat crops, I think the best one is still the ancient fruit.

Edit: But the wiki has the gold per day info on all the crops in the game here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Crops

Edit2: Just noticed that you can only grow cacti in the multiplayer beta. Check this page for info on it: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Cactus_Fruit

I have grown cactus in a plant pot in single player beta, too

Just to clarify, the 1.3 beta has been refered so much as the "multiplayer beta" that I didn't consider my statement could lead to confusion. I meant the 1.3 beta as a whole, not just the multiplayer component.

Cactus can only be grown in garden pots, so comparing it to anything in the greenhouse is irrelevant...

You should really use the greenhouse to grow star fruit all year round. Then make wine with it ^_^

it says they can only be grown indoors, I don't think it says they can only be grown in garden pots
Hmm someone should test then, wonder if cacti can be walked through... I would imagine not though, I'd rather have hops

Just updating in case anyone reads in the future, you CAN grow cactus fruit in the greenhouse, and it can be walked through. Not saying it is or is not more profitable, just clarifying.
